Role: Clinical Research Scientist (CRS) within Lilly's Cardiometabolic Research program, focusing on early-phase compounds, including those targeting womenโ€™s health. Objectives: develop, conduct, and report global clinical trials, primarily Phase I and II, supporting product development and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: collaborate on clinical strategy, design and oversee Phase Ib/IIa/IIb trials, review protocols, manage safety reporting, and contribute to scientific data dissemination and regulatory activities. Engage with discovery teams on preclinical work, biomarkers, and pharmacokinetics; support external communication, publications, and congress activities. Requirements: PhD in Development Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, or Neuroscience; 5+ years clinical development experience; knowledge of drug development processes; effective communication skills; willingness to travel. Preferred: clinical research or pharma medicine background, experience with biologics or small molecules in early-stage development, and familiarity with GxP, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional collaboration.
