Role: Lead US Medical Affairs for Ipsen's hematology oncology portfolio, focusing on myelofibrosis and supporting AML as needed. Objectives: develop and execute the US medical strategy, ensure scientific accuracy of medical content, and foster key opinion leader relationships to support product development and commercialization. Responsibilities: oversee medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials, lead advisory boards, manage clinical study design and monitoring, and guide field medical strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Information, Publications, Clinical Operations, and Commercial teams; supervise medical congress activities and educational grants; and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Requirements: advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD), 8+ years in pharma with at least 5 in Medical Affairs, extensive oncology experience, knowledge of clinical trial design, biostatistics, and US regulatory landscape. Preferred: experience in hematology, clinical research, product launches, and strategic roles. Key biopharma specifics: focus on hematology/oncology, biologics or small molecules, early to late-stage development, with emphasis on scientific communications, medical strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Work setup involves travel up to 40%, primarily onsite or hybrid in Cambridge, MA. This role demands strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to support medical excellence and product success in a dynamic environment.
