Key Responsibilities
Strategic Medical Leadership & Clinical Expertise
- Act as scientific expert medical liaison to develop HIV prevention educational resources with US/Global Medical Affairs and US/Global Commercial teams.
- Develop HIV prevention educational tools (including PrEP implementation).
- Advise on pedagogical framework, matching delivery systems and rightsizing content to provider type.
- Provide educational training to medical and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Medical Review Committee to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate education initiatives, strategies, timelines, and plans to commercial stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Clinical, Public/Government Affairs, and others on cross-functional projects.
Commercial Strategy & Advisory Support
- Support US commercial field education and scientific advisory boards (planning, content review, presentation).
- Support Promotional Review Committee (PRC) concept discussions and material reviews.
Training & Educational Support
- Review/contribute to training materials for field teams.
- Present at field training sessions and meetings; support workshops and strategic/tactical planning.
Launch Planning
- Support future launch educational activities with the US Prevention Strategy Lead.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- MD/PhD/PharmD/NP/PA or other advanced healthcare degree; minimum 8 years relevant experience.
- Required: 5 years clinical services delivery experience for HIV treatment and/or prevention; 3 years pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Ability to lead healthcare professionals; build stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to translate strategy into action; strong analytics; communicate complex issues plainly.
- Strong strategic/organizational skills; manage multiple projects; autonomy in a cross-functional matrix.

Salary Range: Bay Area $243,100β$314,600; Other US $221,000β$286,000. May be eligible for discretionary bonus/stock incentives; paid time off; medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
