Director, Master Data Governance & Management

Role: Director, Global Supply Chain Master Data Governance at Alcon, leading strategy, governance, and execution of master data to support operational excellence, digital transformation, and analytics across global supply chain and commercial functions. Responsibilities: build and evolve the global MDG organization, define future-state operating models, lead SAP MDG implementation and optimization, serve as Process Owner for Product/Material Master Data, establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and drive automation and AI-enabled data quality improvements. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, IT, and other stakeholders, ensuring data readiness for product launches, system integrations, and enterprise initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience, including 6+ years of leadership; proven expertise in master data governance, SAP MDG, and supply chain/commercial data domains. Preferred: extensive experience leading global data governance teams, success in digital transformation projects, influencing cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable impact. High-value specifics: global scope, supply chain and commercial focus, SAP MDG, master data modernization, enterprise process ownership. Work setup: onsite in Fort Worth, TX, with 0-10% travel.
