Purpose:
- Drives marketing operations for Venclexta 1VEN Operations team.
- Leverage data, analytics, and strategic mindset in running the marketing component of the business.
- Exhibits P&L mindset and orchestrates work across internal teams and external partners (e.g., agencies).

Responsibilities:
- Vision and Strategy: Lead marketing vision, strategies, plans, and resource investment for franchise/functional unit; align with a “One AbbVie” mindset.
- Leadership: Set tone and priorities; influence internal/external stakeholders; lead and develop direct, indirect, and cross-business teams; coach to create high-performing teams.
- Action and Accountability: Execute, track, and monitor Marketing Plans using the Mx2.0 framework.
- Market Awareness: Triangulate market dynamics, constituents’ needs, and business priorities to choose the best course of action.
- Strategic Impact: Formulate/adjust plans to achieve financial, constituent, and market results; grow share and penetration; recommend strategic actions across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Deep marketing experience across HCP, Consumer, and Digital marketing (preferably in oncology).
- Cross-functional experience (e.g., field sales, finance, regulatory, R&D; Managed Care, MABI).
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or relevant industry marketing roles.
- Strong independent drive, strategic problem-solving, and ability to work in fast-paced matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management; ability to develop and execute marketing/brand strategies.
- Strong understanding of industry landscape and trends; knowledge of regulations, compliance, and promotional guidelines.
