Director, Marketing – Launch Lead (CNS)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the commercial launch team for an investigational CNS treatment; provide strategic direction and oversight for all launch activities.
- Drive brand performance and P&L with US Innovative Medicines leadership and CNS Portfolio Leader.
- Develop and implement commercialization roadmap; identify success factors and build pre-launch/launch plans.
- Set strategy for HCP (personal and non-personal) promotion, Consumer experience, Medical Education, brand planning, and field readiness in partnership with Sales/Sales Ops/Training.
- Own financial management (forecasting, budgets, agency spend stewardship, results measurement).
- Partner with Market Access on market trends, access/pricing, and payer marketing materials.
- Develop PR strategy; create core HCP/Consumer messaging and creative (unbranded/branded) with agency partners.
- Lead HCP/Consumer promotion, research, messaging, and targeting; collaborate with Thought Leader Liaison for insights.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and participate in sales/marketing planning meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical or relevant brand management experience.
- 5+ years marketing experience, including leading new product launch marketing.
- Strong psychiatry/mental health disorder experience (preferred: movement disorders, Tourette syndrome, bipolar, schizophrenia, neurology, neuro/psych pediatrics); preferred people management and HCP marketing budget experience.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to motivate/collaborate; analytical/project management and agility; people leadership.
- Strong digital/in-person communication; clear articulation of brand vision/strategy.
- Ability to lead beyond direct authority.
