Position Summary:
- Director of Marketing (Westlake Village, CA). Lead brand management and execution of marketing plans for diabetes (Adult indication), including customer and KOL engagement, market research execution, and marketing communications to maximize product value.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Brand Management: Execute brand strategies; manage agency/brand messaging; ensure consistent brand communication across channels.
- Execute marketing plans: Drive initiatives to HCP and allied health; set goals and target segments; position products; create plans for adoption and revenue growth; manage multi-channel programs (including apps and devices).
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with field sales, regulatory affairs, R&D, Legal/Compliance, Strategic Partnerships & Advocacy, and medical affairs; support successful launches/campaigns; lead marketing activities for the Product Review Committee.
- Customer/KOL engagement: Develop initiatives with KOLs, HCPs, patient advocacy groups, and medical societies.
- Market research and analysis: Run market research; monitor trends and opportunities; use insights for positioning and strategy.
- Marketing communications: Oversee marketing collateral, digital content, sales tools, and advertising; communicate complex scientific/medical information to HCPs, patients, and stakeholders.
- Performance tracking/reporting: Establish KPIs; collect field feedback; track/analyze/report for optimization.
- Observe Company Health/Safety/Compliance/Environmental guidelines; other assigned duties.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Admin/related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare experience; 10+ years marketing experience.
- Diabetes category product launch experience preferred; HCP marketing experience required.
- Cost-effective social/digital marketing strategy experience.
- Diabetes marketplace experience with insulin therapy preferred.
- Proven career growth in sales/marketing; strong analytical/strategic problem-solving.
- Cross-functional leadership; project management; manage vendors/agencies.
- Strong understanding of legal/regulatory environment for pharma promotions and compliance; strong verbal/written communication.
- Travel may be required (30%+).

Pay Range:
- $184,000 - $276,000 per hour.
