Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key point of contact for US and Global product teams; participate in relevant product meetings and coordinate other Market Access functions.
- Ensure the US Innovative Medicines Leadership Team (IMLT) is informed of product opportunities and challenges.
- Develop an integrated 3β5 year Market Access product plan, integrating short- and long-term access strategies into annual Brand Planning.
- Partner with Integrating Marketing and Customer Engagement Organizations to ensure seamless execution of market access strategies.
- Partner with Market Access Account Management and Pricing & Channel Strategy to ensure annual forecasts are accurate and reflect market events.
- Socialize US market access product strategies with US/Global Product Leads and Executive Leadership.
- Partner with brand and other Market Access teams to secure annual budgets and ensure tactical plans support Market Access product strategies.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Brand and Marketing to align and implement tactics in an expeditious, compliant manner.
- Master the NVS Material Approval Process (including FUSE platform), compliance with pharma/FDA marketing policies, and vendor payment systems.
- Oversee development of critical market research (qualitative/quantitative) and define go-to-market principles.
- Manage vendor RFP process and ensure contracting compliance.
- Manage multiple budgets and deliverables, including interim project read-outs for cross-functional alignment and budget adherence.
- Manage organizational expectations regarding Market Access conditions for individual products.
- Recruit, develop, and foster top talent within the US Market Access Portfolio Strategy team.
Essential Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA/Health Policy or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical experience in Marketing/Sales, Market Access, or Managed Care Finance.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare dynamics and drivers of pharmaceutical value.
- Proven success in commercial pharmaceuticals with a track record of execution and results.
- Ability to synthesize complex market dynamics into clear communications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and analytical skills; ability to collaborate across a matrix.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple (potentially interdependent) projects and deadlines.
- Ability to implement timely programs that improve business results and adapt to internal/external changes.
- Ability to engage diverse groups across product, marketing, and customer experience.
