Director, Large Scale Process Development

Role: Lead large-scale process development for Century Therapeutics' cell therapy pipeline, focusing on scalable, GMP-compliant manufacturing processes for clinical and commercial use. Responsibilities: oversee strategy and execution of cell expansion, differentiation, harvesting, and formulation processes; provide scientific and technical leadership to a team of process scientists and engineers; collaborate on tech transfer and GMP activities; support regulatory submissions and interactions; and manage resources and budgets. Requirements: BS/MS/PhD in Biomedical/Biotech/Chemical Engineering or related; 10+ years (PhD) or 15+ years (BS/MS) in biopharma or cell therapy process development, GMP manufacturing, and tech transfer; proven experience in process scale-up, especially in cell therapy; strong understanding of GMP regulations; leadership capabilities and effective communication skills. High-Value: biologics, biologics derived from iPSC technology, cell therapy modalities, GMP manufacturing, process development, scale-up, tech transfer, regulatory support for IND/CTA applications. Work Setup: On-site in Branchburg, NJ, 5 days/week.
