Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing KAM team focused on institutional strategy and long-cycle execution
- Establish strategic priorities, annual goals, and KPIs aligned with corporate objectives
- Optimize national account coverage, territory alignment, and resource deployment
- Coach KAMs in health-system mapping, cross-departmental engagement, workflow influence, and protocol adoption
- Develop and oversee Corcept’s national healthcare system engagement strategy
- Collaborate with CSs, TLLs, MSLs, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Development, and other internal partners
- Ensure coordinated execution across IDNs, ACOs, academic centers, and multi-hospital systems
- Oversee educational initiatives across departments/service lines/leadership groups; support presentations and conferences
- Lead national strategy to influence system workflows (screening pathways, EMR flags, order sets, decision-support tools, referral coordination)
- Capture and synthesize system insights; provide actionable recommendations
- Standardize account planning/CRM documentation/communication expectations; manage departmental budget, training, talent development, hiring

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Proficiencies:
- Strong understanding of large healthcare system dynamics (quality, informatics, operations, multidisciplinary practice)
- Demonstrated success implementing system-level workflows or clinical pathways
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional field teams through complex initiatives
- Strong insight synthesis and strategic planning; travel ~50–60%

Preferred Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s preferred; advanced degree in business/healthcare/scientific field
- 10–15+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare system experience; 5+ years leading institutional/market access/key account teams
- Experience in endocrinology, cardiometabolic disease, rare disease, or specialty markets; contracting/market access/quality improvement
