Director, IT SAP Product Lifecycle and Quality

Role: Senior IT leader responsible for developing and executing the end-to-end Regulatory-to-Release digital platform strategy across PLM, Quality Management, and related systems within Gilead's life sciences context. Responsibilities: define multi-year roadmaps, establish standards, partner with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), and oversee delivery performance to ensure compliance, product quality, and operational efficiency. Lead organization-wide programs to optimize SAP PLM, SAP QM, Batch Release, and related digital tools, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance (GxP, GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11), and regulatory requirements. Lead global teams, vendors, and partners, managing priorities, governance, and stakeholder communications at senior levels. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Engineering, Business, or Life Sciences; 15+ years in enterprise digital platform delivery, solution architecture, or ERP management within regulated manufacturing or life sciences. Deep expertise in SAP PLM, SAP QM, SAP S/4HANA, and product lifecycle management, with strong knowledge of compliance standards. Proven leadership of global teams, stakeholder management, and delivering measurable outcomes in complex matrix environments.
