Director, Investor Relations β€” Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of investor relations (IR) plans and initiatives aligned with corporate goals; define and drive a forward-looking 12–24 month IR strategy with senior leadership and the Board.
- Engage with the investment community (healthcare investors, equity research analysts); represent Amylyx at events; build relationships with select sell-side and new buy-side accounts.
- Write quarterly and annual results communications (financial results press releases, annual reports, conference call scripts, key messages, Q&As, and related documents).
- Prepare SEC-compliant filings and disclosures (8-Ks, 10-Ks, 10-Qs, proxies); in some cases, lead document creation.
- Create investor-facing materials (press releases, investor meeting presentations, key message documents, Q&As, website content).
- Ensure consistency of messaging with leadership and colleagues.
- Participate in 1:1 meetings, conferences, bus tours, and non-deal roadshows; lead follow-up as appropriate.
- Respond to external information requests (including shareholders) timely.
- Review/analyze analyst research, models, consensus estimates, and market trends; summarize market sentiment and manage consensus.
- Analyze peer communications and sell-side research; compile reports supporting investor interactions.
- Coordinate with IR/Communications Operations Specialist on IR calendar, investor background, and tracking.
- Support day-to-day IR needs and long-term special projects.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years on a commercial biotech or pharma team.
- Background in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, Buy-Side, or Consulting (preferred).
- Strong financial modeling knowledge; understanding of SEC disclosure requirements and material non-public information.
- Executive presence; exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex scientific/clinical/financial information into clear messaging.
- Strong knowledge of investor priorities; sound judgment under pressure.

Work Location:
- Remote within the U.S., but able to attend meetings at Cambridge, MA regularly. Preference for New England/NYC area candidates.

Compensation:
- Estimated pay range: $204,000–$230,000 USD.
