Director, Investor Relations

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute investor relations plans and a forward-looking 12–24 month IR strategy in partnership with senior leadership and the Board.
- Engage with investors and equity research analysts; represent the company at events; build relationships with select sell-side analysts and new buy-side accounts.
- Produce quarterly/annual results communications (press releases, annual reports, call scripts, key messages, Q&As, and related documents).
- Prepare SEC-compliant filings and disclosures (e.g., 8-Ks, 10-Ks, 10-Qs, proxies); in some cases, lead filing document creation.
- Create investor-facing materials (press releases, investor meeting presentations, key message documents, Q&As, website content) and keep them updated.
- Ensure messaging consistency with leadership and colleagues.
- Participate in one-on-ones, conferences, bus tours, and non-deal roadshows; lead follow-up as appropriate.
- Respond to external requests for information, including from shareholders, in a timely manner.
- Review/analyze analyst research and models, consensus estimates, and market trends; summarize sentiment and manage consensus.
- Analyze peer communications and sell-side research; compile leadership reports supporting investor interactions.
- Partner with IR/communications operations on IR calendar, investor prep materials, scheduling, and investor tracking.
- Support day-to-day IR needs and long-term special projects.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years on commercial biotech or pharma.
- Preferred: Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, Buy-Side, or Consulting.
- Strong financial modeling; understanding of SEC regulations and disclosure of material non-public information.
- Executive presence; exceptional written/verbal/presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex science/clinical/financial info into compelling messaging.
- Understanding of investor priorities; strong judgment and composure under pressure.
