Position Summary
Director, Insights & Innovation (I&I) will lead automated, advanced analytics and AI-enabled decision-support capabilities across the trial lifecycle within TAIP.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and orchestrate TAIP’s advanced analytics roadmap (automated, predictive, AI-enabled); define use cases, maturity stages, and value realization aligned to portfolio/trial decision points.
- Govern analytical methodologies for feasibility, site selection, enrollment forecasting, and portfolio insights.
- Provide business ownership for analytics products/platforms (e.g., Photon, Comet); translate business needs into solution concepts; review technical proposals.
- Lead applied data science: predictive modeling, simulation, ML/AI; ensure transparency, interpretability, and regulatory appropriateness.
- Translate analytics into decision-ready insights for senior leadership; ensure correct timing/confidence and challenge misuse.
- Account for analytical integrity, risk escalation, and limitation disclosure; align stakeholders to avoid conflicting standards.
- Mentor teams; promote clarity, transparency, and rigor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s required; advanced degree preferred (MBA/MSc/PhD).
- 10+ years in clinical development/trial analytics/biostatistics/data governance/advanced trial analytics/consulting.
- Experience with data scientists and AI-enabled solutions; ability to translate business questions into tractable problems.
- Govern analytics products in regulated/high-risk environments.
- Strong predictive modeling/simulation/ML understanding.
- Bridge business and IT/data science teams; drive adoption across large organizations.
- Experience with enterprise analytics systems (Workbench, Performance Central, CTMS, etc.).
