Director, Insights, Diagnosis Acceleration (Commercial Effectiveness)
Responsibilities
- Develop, guide, and execute market research, analytics, and forecasting projects supporting diagnosis acceleration across Insmed respiratory products.
- Partner with Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Medical, and Market Access to quantify the diagnostic opportunity, identify actionable levers, and measure impact across the patient journey.
- Lead hands-on insights initiatives to understand the patient journey from symptom onset through diagnosis and maximize diagnostic funnel efficiency.
- Identify/anticipate key business questions to deliver actionable insights for the commercial team.
- Design strategic research plans to address key business questions and inform strategy development.
- In partnership with Marketing and Medical Affairs, identify value drivers, competitive landscape evolution, epidemiology, and stakeholder prioritization.
- Lead research to test initiatives that drive clinical suspicion and screening among high-risk patients in multiple physician settings.
- Define KPIs and lead deep-dive analysis on regional variations, patient flow modeling, and forecasting assumptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech, with progressive experience in strategic consulting, market research, analytics, or business development.
- At least 4 years of experience in infectious disease, respiratory, or rare disease (highly preferred).

- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams; lead discussions with senior stakeholders and influence strategy.
- Excellent communication and strong analytical skills; ability to understand scientific data and prepare high-level presentations.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and develop research plans that produce actionable insights.
- Hypothesis-driven, inquisitive approach; ability to synthesize insights into a clear narrative.
- Ability to shift between big-picture and details.
- Ability to lead and influence without authority cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
- Agile team player able to adapt and execute based on evolving business needs.
Where Youβll Work / Travel
- Fully remote; occasional travel (~20%).
Pay Range
- $177,000.00β$242,000.00 annual.
