- Design, develop, and validate novel immunoassay-based biomarker methods; apply them to early- and late-phase clinical trials in neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, and rare brain disorders).
- Work with project team leads and associates to perform experiments supporting preclinical and clinical characterization and evaluation of therapeutic molecules through biomarker assay development.
- Assist with planning and execution of immunoassay method development, optimization, validation, and cohort sample analyses with internal and external partners.
- Conduct on-site laboratory work; summarize and report method status/results to internal partners.
- Implement assay validation procedures to deliver high-performance biomarker assays for preclinical and clinical sample analyses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, operations, statistics, and regulatory teams and external partners (CROs, academic institutions) to ensure biomarker validation and integration into clinical programs.

- Master’s and/or PhD in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 0–5+ years of industry, academic, or postdoctoral experience in biomarker development; recognized expertise in immuno-assay-based methods for brain diseases.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Understanding of antibodies/affinity molecules for immunoassay design and protein biomarker quantification; hands-on immunoassay development and validation experience for clinical diagnostics, clinical trials, or preclinical sample analysis.
- Technical skills in qualitative (e.g., electrophoresis techniques, Western blot) and quantitative (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Ella, Simoa) immunoassay analyses.
- Proven leadership mentoring biomarker research teams.
- Experience with ultrasensitive technologies (e.g., NuLISA) and protein separation/purification (e.g., HPLC, immunoprecipitation) is a plus.
