Role Summary

The Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and partner to leaders within the Oncology Business Unit. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, driving HR initiatives that support the company’s mission, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Director, HRBP will provide expertise in areas such as talent management, organizational development, employee relations, change management, and compliance, ensuring HR strategies support the business needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Provide employee relations support, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies that drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion and foster a collaborative and innovative workplace.
  • Support organizational design and restructuring efforts to ensure optimal alignment of resources.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and integration of new employees in the commercial functions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a business partner or leadership role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business leaders and driving HR initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
