Position Summary
Director, HEOR/RWE Therapeutic Area (TA) Lead β Paltusotine (Acromegaly) is the stakeholder-facing HEOR/RWE owner for the acromegaly franchise (PALSONIFY/paltusotine). Owns the therapeutic-area evidence strategy and partners cross-functionally to anchor evidence to launch, access, and lifecycle decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Own acromegaly HEOR/RWE evidence strategy across the product lifecycle: value narrative, evidence gaps, and TA-level priorities.
- Primary HEOR/RWE point of contact for Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, Clinical Development, Patient Advocacy, and regional/affiliate teams.
- Translate evidence questions into prioritized, executable plans; commission work through RWE, PRO/COA, Modeling & Simulation, and Advanced Analytics.
- Contribute narratives to integrated evidence plans, value dossiers (AMCP/global), and HTA submissions.
- Partner with Market Access on payer value propositions, budget impact, and access strategy.
- Align evidence generation to launch/access/lifecycle milestones; anticipate needs ahead of Phase III and regulatory windows.
- Represent the evidence story to KOLs, payers, HTA bodies, and at scientific congresses.
- Monitor competitive/treatment landscape; ensure compliance with corporate policies and US healthcare laws.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MPH, MSc) in health economics/outcomes research/epidemiology/health services/public health or related field.
- 10+ years relevant pharmaceutical/biotech/HEOR consulting; 8+ years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to define/drive therapeutic-area evidence strategy across lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management/influencing; working knowledge of HEOR/RWE (RWE, PRO/COA, economic modeling, HTA requirements).
- Experience with value dossiers and HTA/payer submissions; excellent communication and cross-functional leadership; adaptability in ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Rare/specialty endocrine or niche-population experience; acromegaly/neuroendocrine specialty; experience with HEOR for a recently launched product.
Travel: up to 5%.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary range: $196,000β$245,000.
