Role Summary

Director, HEOL (Health Evidence and Outcomes Liaison) Team Lead responsible for executing the US Medical Affairs strategy, building and leading the Health Evidence and Outcomes Liaisons Team, and coordinating with CORE and US Market Access to communicate Genmabβ€šΓ„Γ΄s clinical and economic value. This remote, field-based role requires significant travel and leadership of a high-impact Medical Affairs function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the HEOL team to ensure operational excellence and alignment with corporate objectives, cross-functional partnerships, and external decision-maker engagements
  • Guide medical insight reporting, analytics, and communication of actionable items to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Market Access and Field Medical colleagues to execute an engagement strategy supporting Medical Affairs priorities with Population Health Decision Makers
  • Oversee training in collaboration with Medical Affairs training team
  • Develop and coach direct reports; conduct performance feedback and professional development
  • Ensure HEOL team develops medical/HEOR strategies for key accounts and builds proactive relationships
  • Participate in US Field Medical Affairs Leadership planning, execution, and reporting for the HEOL Team
  • Align value and engagement strategies with Market Access leadership and payer/corporate accounts
  • Lead internal and external executive engagements for HEOL needs, insights, and strategy
  • Forecast headcount and capability needs; collaborate with CORE Leadership on materials for field engagement
  • Cooperate with Field Medical Affairs leadership on change initiatives to enable positive outcomes
  • Attract, hire, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing HEOL team
  • Communicate HEOL achievements to internal partners and management
  • Co-lead creation and implementation of cross-functional HEOL field strategies with other customer-facing teams
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects as requested
  • Foster Genmab culture and values; ensure compliant behavior and environment
  • Ensure compliance of direct reports with Code of Conduct and policies
  • Complete administrative duties (timesheets, expenses, evaluations) in a timely manner
  • Represent US Field Medical Affairs/CORE at medical/scientific meetings and synthesize insights for program strategies

Qualifications

  • Advanced/scientific medical degree strongly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MPH, MS, MD)
  • Minimum 5β€šΓ„Γ¬7 years of HEOR or Field-HEOR experience in communicating evidence to US payers and population health decision makers
  • 2β€šΓ„Γ¬3 years experience in Oncology/Hematology preferred
  • Field team/people management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare, payer, and market access environments
  • Advanced understanding of PHDM processes across US channels
  • Experience with product launches or demonstrated success as a product/therapeutic point
  • Expert HEOR knowledge, including RWE, data analytics, and economic modeling
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, integrity, teamwork, and customer focus
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt in a changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a high-matrixed environment
  • Working knowledge of FDAMA 114, 21st Century Cures Act, HIPAA, and related compliance for payer interactions
  • Strong corporate compliance knowledge and US healthcare professional interaction guidelines
  • Ability to travel
