Director Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

Major Responsibilities:
- Represent the HEOR team in Medical Strategy Teams to develop medical/HEOR strategies demonstrating product value to payers, clinical decision-makers, and patients.
- Generate and communicate evidence to optimize patient access and product value in the US market.
- Provide medical leadership for strategic alignment and propose impactful ideas in cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple HEOR projects, budgets, and internal/external partners with scientific rigor and stakeholder alignment.
- Build external partnerships with institutional and individual stakeholders.
- Communicate research to diverse audiences; publish and present at scientific conferences.
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders to shape research partnerships and disseminate HEOR findings to SOCs and payers.
- Leverage AI tools for task streamlining, content generation, and decision support (prompting, interpreting, refining).
Essential Requirements:
- Masterβs or doctorate in health economics, statistics, epidemiology, health policy, or related field.
- 8+ years in pharma/healthcare (preferably health economics, market access, or related).
- Proven experience shaping HEOR/RWE strategy and hands-on execution for inline and pipeline products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Expert knowledge of HEOR/RWE: study design, methodologies, modeling, data sources, and analyses.
- Deep knowledge of US healthcare financing/delivery and payer environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- PhD or PharmD with focus in Health Economics/Public Health/Epidemiology or related.
- Experience partnering with external organizations (e.g., SOCs, payers, universities, value assessors, regulatory agencies).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary expected: $185,500β$344,500/year. Performance cash incentive; potential annual equity awards.
