Director, Head of Program Management

Role: Senior Program Management leader responsible for establishing and leading Tessera's Program Management function in biotech/drug development. Objectives: enable effective execution, communication, and decision-making across diverse development programs. Responsibilities: build and oversee a high-performing team, develop integrated project plans, improve program management tools and practices, and facilitate portfolio tracking and risk mitigation. Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in life sciences, engineering, or related field with 10-15 years in program management within biotech/pharma; experience in drug development from research through preclinical/IND stages; proficiency with project management tools and principles; strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred: PMP certification, experience in genetic medicines, or commercial development. High-Value: leadership in early to late-stage drug development, cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic biotech setting.
