Role: Lead strategic and operational direction for the Predictive Modelling and Biopharmaceutics function within oral drug product development. Responsibilities: build and develop a high-performing team; develop and execute modelling strategies supporting formulation design, dosage form selection, and performance evaluation across development stages; oversee biopharmaceutics data analysis and integration to inform development decisions; and ensure regulatory compliance and support for submissions. Lead innovation in PBPK/PBBM, absorption, dissolution, IVIVC/IVIVR, and related methodologies; collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across formulation, analytical, clinical pharmacology, CMC, and regulatory functions; and establish standards, processes, and best practices. Requirements: PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Mathematics, or Engineering with 8-10+ years industry experience or Masterβs with 10-14+ years, or Bachelor's with 15-18+ years, emphasizing pharmaceutical development, predictive modelling, and biopharmaceutics. Expertise in mechanistic and model-informed drug development, oral biopharmaceutics, and regulatory interactions. Proven leadership in building teams and influencing cross-functional decisions. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on oral dosage forms, biopharmaceutics risk assessment, and support for regulatory submissions. Work setup: based in Boston, MA, full-time, hybrid, with high autonomy and complex decision-making.
