Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead Molecular Profiling capabilities at the Seattle research site, aligned with company goals.
- Develop and execute a strategic vision, including prioritizing technology investments with partner teams.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of scientists.
- Use clinical samples to generate biological insights, identify targets/pathways for immunology indications, and support reverse translation.
- Collaborate with the biomarker team to execute biomarker strategy.
- Partner with Data & Computational Sciences to implement AI/ML for bridging clinical, experimental, and computational work to nominate immunology targets.
- Direct single-cell multiomics atlases and ML models for target prioritization across autoimmune cohorts.
- Serve on Seattle Research leadership teams; lead interdisciplinary projects and present progress to senior leadership.
- Identify and establish external collaborations with academic/industry partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in cellular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field + 10+ years post-doctoral experience.
- Proven expertise in spatial transcriptomics, CYTOF, single-cell sequencing, and proteomics.
- Experience with complex data analysis and AI/ML methods.
- Demonstrated leadership building/managing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication/presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, able to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in immunology and immune system biology.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships.
Compensation
- Pay range: $203,000β$304,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
