Role: Head of DNA-Encoded Library (DEL) leading strategic and scientific development of DEL technologies for small-molecule discovery. Responsibilities: define DEL screening strategies, build and lead in-house DEL library design, synthesis, and selection campaigns; oversee data analysis, hit prioritization, and validation; collaborate with cross-functional teams (medicinal chemistry, biology, structural biology, computational chemistry, DMPK) to advance DEL-derived hits; establish platform standards and external collaborations; mentor scientists and promote a rigorous, innovative culture. Requirements: PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or related field with 10+ years (PhD) or 16+ years (MS) of industry experience in drug discovery, DEL technology, or related disciplines; expertise in DEL library design, on-DNA chemistry, data analysis, hit triage, and lead progression; proven leadership and cross-functional team experience; excellent communication skills. Preferred: experience with affinity- and functional-based DEL screening, sequencing technologies, bioinformatics, and integrating DEL data with structural and computational chemistry; track record of advancing DEL-derived compounds into development.
