Director of HCP Marketing (US)

Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to ensure an integrated brand strategy for the HAE community (brand, patient services, advocacy, communications)
- Lead HCP personal and peer-to-peer marketing with Consumer Marketing and agency partners
- Establish and implement product positioning; develop and execute disease state and branded campaigns and messaging (personal and non-personal)
- Develop and optimize non-personal promotional content and collateral aligned with brand positioning and engagement strategy
- Manage opinion leader relationships; lead market insight gathering via advisory boards; build/maintain HCP speaker bureau (including KOL identification and development)
- Partner cross-functionally on strategic planning and campaign evolution
- Analyze customer brand/competitive product utilization and market trends to inform strategic and tactical decisions
- Develop and refine HCP segmentation and targeting
- Create communication plans (internal/external messaging) and support presence at key congresses
- Build and lead a high-performing team; coach/develop leaders (expect 1–2 direct reports; act as peer leader across marketing)
- Manage agency partners and vendors for market research, marketing material creation/reviews, and budget adherence
- Align with Sales leadership on Sales Representative directives, POA, training, and readiness of field-facing materials
- Understand and ensure compliance with legal/regulatory/compliance requirements for pre- and post-approval activities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); MBA strongly preferred
- 7 years of relevant marketing experience
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to engage and influence across teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong launch experience as a marketer (preferably rare disease)
- At least 3 years leading HCP marketing (preferably rare disease)
- Experience in commercial functions beyond marketing (e.g., Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations)
- Biotech startup experience

- Excellent presentation skills to diverse stakeholders (patients, HCPs, senior leaders, board members)
- 25%+ travel anticipated

Compensation:
- Pay Range: $230,000 USD – $250,000 USD
