Summary
The Government Market Access Account Executive drives strategically aligned, fiscally responsible access outcomes across prioritized government payer accounts. Primary liaison to Medicaid Fee-for-Service customers; leads cross-functional efforts to advance timely patient access to Bristol Myers Squibb medicines.
Territory: South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi.

Responsibilities
- Achieve targeted formulary and coverage outcomes
- Develop and execute data-driven account plans aligned to enterprise access objectives
- Serve as primary strategic point of contact for Medicaid Fee-for-Service customers
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Policy, Advocacy, HEOR, Reimbursement, Marketing, and Sales
- Maintain understanding of account policies, formulary processes, competitive dynamics, timelines, and state priorities
- Identify access opportunities/risks using market dynamics, policy changes, and performance data
- Monitor/analyze/communicate contracted product performance and access trends
- Manage Medicaid PBA and pooling group relationships (with or without contract solutions)
- Translate customer/market insights into actionable strategies

Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent; MBA preferred
- 7+ years customer-facing, field-based Market Access experience
- Demonstrated relationships with Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) customers
- Proven market access accountability supporting a pharmaceutical launch
- Deep understanding of review/approval/reimbursement/formulary decisions
- Experience managing access across medical and pharmacy benefits (preferred)
- Serious mental illness experience required; schizophrenia experience strongly preferred

Compensation
- Field (US): $216,620–$262,496 + potential incentive cash/stock (eligibility-based).
