Summary
Government Market Access Account Executive driving strategically aligned, fiscally responsible access outcomes across prioritized government payer accounts; primary liaison to Medicaid Fee-for-Service customers and leads cross-functional efforts to advance timely patient access. Covers South territory: SC, GA, FL, TN, AL, AR, MO, TX, LA, OK, MS.
Responsibilities
- Achieve targeted formulary/coverage outcomes in prioritized access accounts.
- Develop and execute data-driven account plans aligned to enterprise access objectives.
- Serve as primary strategic point of contact for government access customers; engage Medicaid FFS decision-makers/influencers.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration (Policy, Advocacy, HEOR, Reimbursement, Marketing, Sales).
- Understand account-level policies, formulary review processes, competitive dynamics, decision timelines, and state priorities.
- Identify access opportunities/risks using market dynamics, policy changes, and performance data.
- Monitor/analyze/communicate contracted product performance and access trends.
- Manage Medicaid PBA and pooling group relationships (with or without contract solutions).
- Translate insights into actionable strategies to accelerate access and patient impact.
Qualifications
- BA/BS (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7 years field-based, customer-facing Market Access.
- Demonstrated engagement of Medicaid Fee-for-Service customers with established FFS state relationships.
- Proven support of at least one pharmaceutical product launch with market access accountability.
- Deep knowledge of review/approval/reimbursement/formulary decisions; medical + pharmacy access experience preferred.
- Serious mental illness experience required; schizophrenia experience strongly preferred.

- Influence senior state decision-makers; strong analytical and negotiation skills; strategic prioritization and alignment to enterprise objectives.
Compensation/Benefits
- Field (US): $216,620β$262,496; additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-based).
