Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track reimbursement policy developments; identify Medicare Part B threats and opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive product coverage and Medicare reimbursement strategies to achieve optimal access.
- Represent AbbVieโ€™s interests before CMS and other federal departments/agencies; execute Medicare reimbursement tactics and CMS engagement strategies.
- Grow product and pipeline understanding to build product-specific Medicare reimbursement strategies aligned to business and channel goals.
- Develop educational resources and provide reimbursement guidance to support launch planning and label changes; conduct national Medicare reimbursement policy research.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners as an expert/strategic advisor on Medicare reimbursement and the federal policy landscape.
- Partner with U.S. Policy & Analytics to track legislative/regulatory developments; lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute advocacy strategies related to Medicare Part B.

Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. federal reimbursement environment and the commercial payer market.
- 10+ years of experience in a related role; Government Affairs experience preferred.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field (e.g., health care administration, political science, public administration, public policy); advanced degree preferred (MPH, MBA, JD, MPP).
- Expertise in coding, coverage, reimbursement, and Average Sales Price (ASP) methodology; experience launching physician-administered drugs.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid (Medicare Part A/B, discarded drug refund policy, Inflation Reduction Act).
- Experience working with medical and provider societies on reimbursement and policy issues.
- Ability to identify reimbursement/policy opportunities and challenges and provide clear recommendations considering the political environment.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) with ability to influence internal/external stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Domestic travel (25%) required.
