Director, Global Trade and Operations Strategy

Role: Lead global trade operations and strategy for Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining compliance frameworks to support international growth. Responsibilities: develop trade operating models, oversee trade compliance programs aligned with U.S. and international regulations, and partner with cross-functional teams on footprint expansion, supply chain security, and regulatory engagement. Lead and develop a global trade team, optimize processes with technology, and monitor geopolitical and regulatory changes for enterprise impact. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 10+ years in biotech/pharma, including 5+ years in trade compliance, supply chain operations, or related global functions; experience with GxP distribution, import/export controls, HTS classification, and trade law. High-Value: experience supporting pharmaceutical expansion, product launches, and complex supply chain compliance—including cold chain, serialization, and anti-diversion measures; familiarity with GDP, DSCSA, EU FMD. Collaboration: work closely with senior leaders across Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams; report to VP of Global Operations & Supply Chain. Location: Pasadena, CA or Verona, WI; in-office five days/week; domestic and international travel required.
