Role Summary

Director Global Procurement – Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring the success of the SRM framework across Global Procurement. Manages key enterprise suppliers, supports Category teams, and enables communication to suppliers and stakeholders related to SRM and Regeneron priorities. This role requires onsite presence four days per week at the Corporate HQ in Sleepy Hollow, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and leading SRM Strategy across Global Procurement, including design and execution of a comprehensive global SRM strategy, establishing governance across the enterprise.
  • Serve as the executive point of contact for key enterprise suppliers; facilitate regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Drive supplier-enabled innovation initiatives and continuous improvement programs to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier risks, ensuring business continuity and adherence to regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Leverage SRM technologies, analytics tools, and dashboards to gain insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development of SRM capability across Global Procurement, fostering collaboration, accountability, and strategic thinking.
  • Research external data sources to understand industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve Regeneron’s SRM program.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of efficient global procurement in biopharmaceuticals to support growth of Global Procurement.
  • Deep understanding of SRM best practices in a regulated, global environment.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to build influential relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive results through SRM.
  • Integrity, focus, and clarity in ambiguous environments to drive change and improvement.
  • Working knowledge of sourcing contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba).
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication and analysis.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 10–15 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in Pharma/BioPharma.
