Responsibilities:
- Lead the composition, development, and execution of category strategies in CMO External Manufacturing, Drug Substance & Drug Product.
- Translate category strategies into achievable sourcing projects that deliver value to Regeneron and its patients.
- Partner with Direct Procurement Leadership to evolve strategies as the company pipeline evolves.
- Implement category strategies to meet objectives.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement to manage cross-category suppliers.
- Anticipate needs and plan strategies to optimize achievement of corporate goals.
- Collaborate and execute a best-in-class partner management program.
- Implement and manage technology solutions to drive value via efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and manage a team providing CMO Procurement support globally.
- Enhance capability and capacity through talent development, performance criteria, consistent work processes, direct report management, and process excellence with a focus on stakeholder experience.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Progressive procurement experience, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma.
- Director: 12+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of CMO & External Manufacturing, Raw Materials, or Packaging Technologies procurement categories in the pharmaceutical field.
- Working knowledge of sourcing/contracting tools, ERP systems, and eRFx systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba).
- Experience leading global categories, teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories.
