Position Summary
- Develop and implement a Global Policy Strategy aligned with business priorities and corporate goals, with direct accountability for Cell Therapy.
- Ensure Policy & Government Affairs insights are integrated into commercial business planning.
- Partner with prioritized markets to advance key policy initiatives aligned with the Global Policy Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Policy & Business Strategy Coordination: Lead strategic alignment of global policy with commercial priorities and enterprise goals; collaborate cross-functionally (commercial, market access, medical, R&D) to set and execute joint objectives.
- Policy Integration Into Business Planning: Integrate policy insights into business planning for Cell Therapy and enterprise strategy; factor insights into product launch plans, market access, lifecycle management, and portfolio prioritization.
- Market & Therapeutic Area Support: Provide hands-on guidance to key markets; adapt policy strategies to Cell Therapy needs (access, regulatory approvals, reimbursement).
- Leadership & Matrix Influence: Lead/influence within a global matrix; represent GPGA with senior leadership and the Cell Therapy leadership team.
- Policy Advocacy & External Engagement: Develop/implement policy advocacy with government bodies, regulators, and industry organizations; build long-term external relationships.
- Performance Monitoring: Track/evaluate policy initiative impact; define and monitor KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in business, public policy, political science, law, or related field.
- 10+ years in public policy/government affairs/marketing/market access/strategy (pharma/healthcare experience).
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Skills
- Executive communication and presence; consensus building.
- Strong leadership/influence in matrix environments; global regulatory/policy navigation; strategic thinking.
- International travel required up to 25%.
