Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive global market access strategy for defined indications across the product lifecycle; synthesize payer insights, landscape analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform opportunities and risks across multiple country archetypes.
- Lead cross-functional development of payer value proposition anchored by a credible scientific narrative, plus global communication resources (e.g., value dossiers, payer value decks, access tools) to support value recognition.
- Collaborate with Product Development Teams (Clinical, V&I, Regulatory Affairs) to ensure payer-informed clinical trial designs (endpoints, comparators, label language) and value evidence plans.
- Coordinate with Regional Access teams to translate global strategies into actionable regional/country plans, including negotiation strategies and tailored access solutions across markets.
- Partner with Policy and Public Affairs to assess, navigate, and shape evolving global policies (HTA evolutions, health policy legislation, international reference pricing/MFN), proactively adapting access strategies.
- Identify and assess innovative opportunities to support patient access beyond traditional pathways.
- Provide ad-hoc strategic market access assumptions into business development and licensing assessments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s (MBA/MS) or other post-graduate degree required; preferred in Business, Science, Health Economics, or Public Health.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- 5–8 years market access, pricing, and reimbursement experience (country preferred) or comparable experience.
- Experience launching products with multiple indications and navigating country/global access and reimbursement.
- Deep understanding of global healthcare systems, HTA methodologies, payer dynamics; strong health economics and ability to translate clinical data into payer value.
- Broad understanding of product development and commercialization; strong financial/analytical/business acumen.
- Proven success leading strategic initiatives in a cross-functional, highly matrixed organization.
- Strong project management and operational implementation; exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Oncology/hematology/cell & gene therapy market access, pricing, and product launch experience.
- Familiarity with complex oncology trial designs and scenario planning in dynamic environments.
