Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic execution of integrated communications programs supporting two oncology in-line products, partnering cross-functionally; focus on milestone communications (regulatory approvals, data releases, medical meeting communications).
- Anticipate and prepare communications materials for U.S. and global oncology product issues.
- Develop and execute communication strategies to advance company reputation as an oncology leader aligned to corporate narrative and oncology business priorities.
- Create communications strategies/programs/materials for regions and subsidiaries; advise on franchise and product communications issues.
- Serve as liaison to third parties (e.g., advocacy organizations, external experts/researchers) and trade/local news media.
- Work with public relations agencies and manage related budgets.
- Manage a direct report supporting the oncology portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 yearsβ experience in communications or public relations in pharma or related industry.
- Oncology product communications experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communications across channels (print, digital, presentations).
- Strong project management; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative, fast-paced/high-visibility team orientation.
- Budget and agency management experience.
- Proven ability to create strategic communications plans and execute tactically.
Education:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
