Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of an integrated Global Market Access and Pricing strategy for one or more Pumitamig therapeutic areas across late-stage development, launch, and lifecycle management (price corridors, access archetypes, pricing assumptions; governance and alliance forums; first worldwide price negotiations).
- Serve as Global Market Access lead to the Global Product Team; embed payer perspectives early into development and commercial strategies; optimize registrational trial designs via governance forums (e.g., DEX); ensure forward-looking evidence generation plans for payer and HTA needs across key markets.
- Collaborate across Global Market Access (Pricing, HEOR, regional/local teams) to assess opportunities and balance speed to access, value sustainability, pricing discipline, and long-term franchise considerations amid market/policy/competitive dynamics.
- Lead Global Market Access Core Value Team and Value Strategy Team for assigned assets/indications; drive strategic direction, prioritization, and execution across functions and geographies.
- Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Business Insights & Analytics, and regional teams to monitor the external environment and adapt Market Access strategy across the asset lifecycle.
- Lead and influence in a highly matrixed, alliance-based environment; build trust-based relationships with BioNTech partners; enable aligned decision-making and execution of Global Market Access initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required (relevant field); advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, MSc, MBA) preferred.
- Deep understanding of global oncology market access (pricing, reimbursement, HEOR) and payer value proposition development.
- 8+ years in market access, pricing, HEOR, or related roles in healthcare/biopharma.
- Strong drug development and commercialization knowledge; ability to evaluate clinical trial designs/endpoints/evidence implications from a payer perspective; launch and/or late-stage experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated business/financial acumen; able to synthesize perspectives and provide clear recommendations.
- Ability to articulate global access strategy to senior, cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven cross-functional/matrix leadership and influencing skills.
- Experience navigating international/multi-cultural and cross-organizational environments; alliance/partnership experience preferred.
- Strong prioritization and execution; comfort managing ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel as required.
