Director, Global Logistics

Role: Director of Supply Chain & Logistics at Insmed, overseeing global logistics for Commercial, Clinical, and R&D functions. Responsibilities: develop and execute logistics strategies, manage domestic and international transportation, warehousing, import/export compliance, and vendor relationships; lead projects such as product launches, manufacturing transfers, and warehouse implementations; ensure supply chain resilience, cost efficiency, and compliance with GDP and trade regulations; optimize logistics operations across regions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years in biopharma supply chain, logistics, or operations; deep knowledge of global transportation, customs, and cold chain; experience managing high-value pharmaceutical shipments and vendor governance; strong leadership, financial acumen, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Nice to Have: advanced degrees (MBA or Master’s), experience in clinical supply chain, regulatory trade compliance, and specialty or rare disease pharmaceuticals. Work setup: based in Bridgewater, NJ, with 2-3 days/week onsite; travel approximately 10-20%. The role involves strategic partnership with external logistics providers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, compliant, and scalable supply chain operations supporting Insmed’s growth in serious and rare diseases.
