Operations
Purpose:
Provide leadership for capital planning and strategy development for Global Engineering. Lead the ongoing capital investment strategy for the global manufacturing network (IME) and oversee Operations capital planning across Long Range Planning, Annual Plan, and Update. Lead engineering Front End Planning (FEP) including asset utilization modeling, capital cost estimation, business development deal input, pipeline technology assessment, and network scenario development. Recommend investments to optimize manufacturing footprint while maintaining Assurance of Supply and geographic balance. Provide project management/oversight for Global Engineering Programs and coordinate facility/utility projects; develop resource plans and manage external engineering/construction relationships; manage and leverage common engineering systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of project engineers for scenario development and capital cost estimation ($1MMโ$200MM).
- Own Capital Planning processes, policies, and procedures.
- Run Operations-wide capital planning for LRP/Plan/Update (>$400MM annual investment spend).
- Perform asset utilization modeling and develop multi-year strategies for 27 manufacturing sites.
- Benchmark capital cost estimation best practices.
- Coordinate site project criticality scoring to prioritize network investments.
- Partner with senior Operations leaders and Sites; build S&T/R&D partnership for technology preparedness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs in Engineering; Masterโs in Management or MBA (preferred).
- 10โ15 years in Engineering and/or Manufacturing Management (required).
