What You Will Do
- Operationalize Amgen’s content supply chain and lead global production capability to deliver content at scale across brands, markets, and channels.
- Oversee global team and production partners delivering thousands of content production projects annually across web, CRM, Veeva, digital, print, localization, and omnichannel channels.
- Accountable for production quality, speed, compliance, cost efficiency, partner performance, and adoption of automation and AI-enabled production.
- Improve production efficiency, reduce cycle time, increase content reuse, optimize costs, and scale globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead global production operations leaders (North America, Europe, Asia) for delivery and operational excellence.
- Establish operating model, governance framework, and service levels.
- Partner cross-functionally (Content Excellence, Brand, Technology, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Commercial) to align production capabilities with business needs.
- Lead content supply chain operations: standardized workflows, resource planning, production controls; drive consistency and define/monitor KPIs (speed, quality, compliance, cost, reuse, capacity utilization, stakeholder satisfaction).
- Manage partner/vendor ecosystem; manage budgets/forecasting/resource allocation; set vendor performance frameworks and optimize external spend.
- Drive automation, modular content, and GenAI use cases in partnership with Content Transformation and Technology.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 4 years, OR Master’s + 7 years, OR Bachelor’s + 9 years in global content production operations/supply chain management and digital/omnichannel content delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project/stakeholder management; translate strategy into action; strong analytics/organizational skills; exceptional communication; matrixed agency/brand/ops experience; comfort with ambiguity and change; familiarity with life sciences/regulated industries.
