Director, Global Commercial Strategy – Oncology

Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial decision-making for early-stage, late-stage, and business development opportunities across the Oncology pipeline.
- Develop long-term portfolio vision; lead commercial assessment and investment case development for early/late-stage assets, life-cycle options, and technology platforms.
- Lead/support portfolio-wide strategic initiatives.
- Interface with Global Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, PDA, GAV, BD, and partners to execute asset plans and progress assets through governance stage-gates and endorsements.
- Conduct strategic/commercial assessments and commercial planning for asset/technology platform business cases:
- Track competitive landscape by asset/MOA/tumor level.
- Analyze global market/treatment trends, evolving standard of care, and competition.
- Provide commercial input to development strategies.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive disease area strategies, product concepts, target product profiles, scenario planning, and investment decisions.
- Make strategic/investment recommendations to OSGT, PMT, and governance bodies.
- Create/update portfolio decision-making tools for consistent use.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 8 years; or Master’s + 7 years; or PhD + 5+ years.
- Experience in commercial development, marketing, new product launch, or strategy in pharma/medical device/biotech.
- Strategy Consulting and/or Commercial org experience (preferred).

Preferred:
- Strong Oncology landscape knowledge; prior commercial planning/decision-making value creation.
- Stage-gate experience (e.g., POC, DP3) and presenting business cases to senior leadership.
- Financial valuation/forecasting/business proposal experience; cross-functional interfacing.
- Influence without authority; leadership of matrix teams; urgency; long-term strategy execution.

Benefits/Compensation:
- Base salary: $176,600–$294,300; eligible for Global Performance Plan bonus (20% target) and share-based long-term incentives.
