Responsibilities
- Work with R&D, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, PDA, GAV, BD and partners to drive commercial decision-making for early-/late-stage and business development opportunities in the Oncology pipeline.
- Lead long-term vision, commercial assessment, and investment case development for assets, life cycle options, and technology platforms; lead/support portfolio-wide strategic initiatives.
- Serve as key interface to execute asset plans and support progression through governance stage-gates and OSGT/enterprise endorsements.
- Lead commercial/strategic assessments and planning for asset/technology business cases, including: competitive landscape evaluation (asset/MOA/tumor), global market and treatment trend analysis, input to development strategies, and scenario planning and asset investment decisions.
- Make recommendations to OSGT, PMT and governance bodies.
- Create/update portfolio decision-making tools aligned across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs + 8 years OR Masterβs + 7 years OR PhD + 5+ years.
- Experience in commercial development, marketing, new product launch, or strategy in pharma/medical device/biotech.
- Strategy Consulting and/or Commercial organization experience (preferred).
Preferred
- Strong Oncology landscape knowledge; prior commercial planning and decision-making for early-stage pipeline value.
- Stage-gate experience (POC, DP3) and presenting business cases to senior management.
- Financial valuation/forecasting/business proposal experience.
- Cross-functional leadership and ability to influence without authority; matrix collaboration.
