Role Summary

Director, Global Commercial Excellence Neuroscience located in Raritan, NJ. Leads across the neuroscience portfolio to increase program competitiveness, elevate commercial strategy, accelerate execution from pre-launch to post-launch, and drive global commercial success. Identifies organizational needs for commercial capability enhancement and delivers improved capabilities across Therapeutic Areas.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a marketing strategy consultant to elevate commercial strategy development and accelerate the commercial execution roadmap across markets and portfolio.
  • Prepare for best-in-class product launches and deliver the Global Core Asset Strategy using knowledge of strategic marketing, medical/scientific strategy, and market access.
  • Identify organizational needs for commercial capability enhancement and drive capability development across Therapeutic Areas.
  • Develop global brand strategy in partnership with DAS teams to create an integrated Global Core Asset Strategy from pre-launch through post-launch.
  • Ensure commercialization strategies are grounded in insights addressing future market needs; apply MarketingX best practices for asset potential in milestone decisions, long-range planning, and business planning.
  • Collaborate with GCSO teams to design go-to-market approaches for compliant, effective launches; ensure global launch readiness across product development stages.
  • Champion coordinated global launch plans and prepare teams for Global Launch Readiness reviews.
  • Optimize MarketingX and Launch Excellence approaches for consistent delivery across GCSO teams and regional connections.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree in business or life sciences preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry required.
  • In-line (promotional) marketing experience with brand responsibility in dynamic specialty areas required; neuroscience experience preferred.
  • Ability to master complexity and integrate insights into strategies and actions; strong cross-functional and cross-geography collaboration.
  • Global strategic marketing experience with commercial responsibility in pre-launch and launch environments preferred; experience in launch, global market access, and medical strategy is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with senior leaders across US, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM; enterprise mindset and ability to influence without authority; ability to manage multiple priorities and drive decisions.
