Position Summary
Director, Forecasting (WW Global) independently develops, maintains, and delivers forecasts for one or more therapeutic areas to inform brand strategy, enterprise planning, and cross-functional decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end forecasting for assigned brands/therapeutic areas; produce accurate, objective output with transparent assumptions.
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and chart audits; translate business questions into structured analyses and scenario plans.
- Support forecasting cycles (1-, 3-, and 10-year); provide scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Develop/execute AI-first forecasting models (Excel-based, algorithmic, or data-enabled); ensure calibration, documentation, and enterprise-standard alignment.
- Coordinate with Finance, MAx, Commercial, Pricing, Medical, and Worldwide teams; explain forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities; provide timely inputs to P-cycles, Budget, and LTFP.
- Maintain rigorous QC, audit-ready documentation, reproducibility, and adherence to model-risk guidelines; streamline tools/templates/processes.
- Provide informal mentorship and guidance to analysts.
Qualifications / Required & Preferred Skills
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, or related quantitative fields.
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Proficiency in forecasting methodologies, scenario modeling, and pharmaceutical secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony).
- Experience with Excel-based, algorithmic, or AI-enabled forecast models.
- Python (preferred, not required); strong data synthesis and communication/data storytelling.
- Demonstrated QC rigor, model accuracy, transparency; ability to manage ambiguity with structured problem-solving.
