Role Summary

Director, Forecasting & Analytics US Kidney. Lead NA forecasting for the pove franchise, providing quantitative and qualitative forecasting and analytical support for key commercial processes and business decisions. Partner with US leadership and cross-functional teams to generate and refine the short/mid-range US pove revenue forecast as part of Long-Range Planning (LRP).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the NA portion of the monthly short/mid-range latest estimate revenue forecasting process for the pove franchise, modeling underlying demand and sales drivers
  • Evaluate, synthesize, and present performance tracking vs. forecast analytics to understand trends, support updates to the pove forecast, and develop insights
  • Own, maintain, and update pove forecasting model(s), updating framework/logic and ingesting actual sales data, competitive market data, analytics, and market research outputs
  • Coordinate the short/mid-range portion of the US pove revenue forecast as part of the annual Long-Range Planning (LRP) process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including US Marketing, Global Marketing, US Market Access, US and Global Finance, Supply Chain, etc.
  • Deliver robust quantitative market assessments with clear articulation of key drivers, sensitivities, risks, and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experience with a wide range of forecasting methodologies; knowledge of new/emerging methods within and outside biotech
  • Experience modeling/forecasting within competitive biotech/pharma markets
  • Proficiency in complex Excel modeling; experience with large data sets and tools such as Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Python, SAS, VBA
  • Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to structure problems, diagnose issues, and triangulate approaches while considering the big picture
  • Experience working with senior leadership to support financial forecasting and analytics and/or commercial launch planning
  • Ability to adapt to new and evolving business and planning needs

Education

  • Masterβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in a quantitative discipline required (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Science)
  • 10+ years in biotech/pharmaceuticals in a quantitative role in Commercial/Finance/Corporate Strategy/BD, or 6 years in a relevant consulting role post-MBA/PhD with biotech/pharma and quantitative decision support experience
