Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Primary Finance Business Partner to the Devens Site General Manager and Leadership Team; translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Lead budgeting/forecasting and consolidate site inputs into enterprise plans aligned to BMS planning calendar.
- Provide financial leadership for site initiatives (capacity expansions, tech transfers, consolidations, productivity programs, clinical-to-commercial transitions) and maintain cost models.
- Conduct financial performance reviews with variance analysis, scenario/sensitivity modeling, and make-vs.-buy assessments.
- Identify/mitigate financial risks; oversee expenses, headcount, inventory, conversion costs, and capital spend; ensure accurate, compliant accounting.
- Own capital governance (CAR strategy, readiness, spend tracking, closeout) and build business cases (NPV/IRR, scenario/sensitivity).
- Own Internal Controls framework (SOX compliance, audit readiness, continuous improvement) and support cost-setting/inventory valuation per GAAP.
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage the finance organization using talent planning; foster Inclusion and Continuous Improvement.
- Drive finance standardization/automation and capability-building (close, cost management, FP&A, business partnership workflows).
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics or related.
- 10+ years progressive finance experience in manufacturing finance (budgeting, forecasting, capital governance, cost management).
- Proven leadership of finance/accounting teams.
- Ability to influence all management levels (Site GMs, VPs, HQ Finance).
- Strong technical accounting/reporting; internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Executive communication and cross-functional interface.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing operations and cost accounting in pharmaceutical/biotech/cell therapy GMP environments.
- Global Manufacturing Operations Finance experience.
- SAP (or similar MRP/ERP) and financial planning tools (Hyperion/OneStream/Anaplan or equivalent).

- Devens, MA (US): $206,260–$249,940; may include incentive cash/stock (eligibility-based).
