Role Summary

The Finance Director for Capital Planning and Analysis is a strategic role designed for a highly accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in managing and optimizing capital resources within a dynamic organization. This leader will spearhead the capital planning process, develop sophisticated analysis to support investment decisions, and provide critical insights that enable the organization to achieve its long-term strategic objectives. This person will be the Finance Global Process Owner for Capital Planning. The Director will be the business partner to Vice President, Capital Services & Solutions. This position will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that capital allocation aligns with organizational priorities, enhances operational efficiency, and drives sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the organization's capital planning framework, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Forecast long-term capital requirements based on business growth, innovation strategy, market trends, and regulatory considerations.
  • Prepare, present, and defend capital plans to senior executive leadership and board of directors.
  • Guide the prioritization and selection of capital projects, working closely with business partners to evaluate feasibility, risk, and return on investment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in corporate finance, capital planning, financial analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale capital planning processes within complex organizations with an expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to executive audiences.
  • Expertise in leveraging advanced analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across functions and geographies.
