Responsibilities:
- Lead regional hiring, deployment, and leadership for Neurology-focused Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
- Collaborate with Senior Director, Field Medical, Medical Directors, and others to set Field Medical strategy.
- Oversee activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines.
- Provide scientific exchange and collaborate with therapeutic area opinion leaders on disease/product information and research initiatives.
- Participate in development and management of company and investigator-sponsored clinical trials.
- Manage a regional Field Medical team, including routine field visits and 1:1 meetings with observation/coaching.
- Recruit, coach, train, and develop direct reports.
- Monitor compliant execution of initiatives and permissible field activities.
- Track team field activity level and field metrics.
- Ensure each field memberβs territory plan is strategic, up to date, and actionable.
- Lead the Neurology Field Medical team (hiring, goal setting, performance evaluation, and direct report supervision).
- Align Medical Affairs (MA) field medical goals and team value proposition with internal stakeholders.
- Develop educational materials/evidence communication tools and champion regulatory/legal/health care compliance approvals.
- Identify gaps in research needs and create opportunities with potential/existing investigators.
- Support clinical data communication via abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscript development.
- Engage healthcare professionals and attend medical conferences to collect/report medical insights.
- Develop strategic plans and coordinate activities for Neurology scientific meetings and congresses.
- Collaborate with Clinical and other study staff to implement Medical Affairs strategies supporting Neurology Development Plans.
- Develop strategies and maintain lists of Neurology experts/investigator targets with action plans.
- Collaborate with Medical Information to develop, plan, and review materials for responses to scientific inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Advanced medical and/or scientific degree required (e.g., MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, DVM).
- 10+ yearsβ work experience in Medical Affairs.
- Previous experience as an MSL and leading a team of MSLs required.
- 5+ years Neurology pharmaceutical work experience preferred (myasthenia gravis helpful).
- Prior experience developing assets such as slide decks, FAQs, or related MSL materials preferred.
- Launch experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Veeva.

Salary Range (annual):
- $205,000.00 - $341,600.00
