Responsibilities:
- Lead an integrated cross-functional team to deliver reliable, compliant bulk and finished product supply from Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs).
- Manage subcontracted relationships end-to-end: business case, contract negotiation, cost accountability, and program execution; oversee third-party manufacturing operations for compliance, pricing, and schedules.
- Own external partner governance and performance improvement; identify and mitigate risks via comprehensive risk management strategies.
- Support supplier relationship management (business reviews, contract negotiations, dispute resolution).
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve technical, quality, or supply issues.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global TPM team to drive supplier adherence and business outcomes.
- Provide financial stewardship including P&L ownership, budget ceiling adherence, and cost reduction/savings targets.
- Sponsor sourcing and siting for new product commercialization (evaluate capabilities, investment needs, negotiate supply agreements).
- Develop long-range plans (financials, volumes, headcount) to optimize the Third Party Manufacturing footprint.
- Implement standard work/business processes to enable “one way of working” across External Manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- BS (Engineering or equivalent technical degree); MBA preferred.
- 10+ years leadership in manufacturing/supply chain/operations; 3–5 years in leadership role; Plant Manager/GM experience preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional matrixed teams; managing senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing subcontracted relationships.
- Ability to translate strategy into results; outstanding negotiation skills; long-term strategic thinking.
- Ability to lead change across a matrix; strong verbal and written communication.
