Role Overview
This role supports the Commercial and Medical teams and oversees engagement of external stakeholders. Provides compliance subject-matter expertise, leads development of policies, training, and communications, reviews materials and engagement requests for compliance, and consults with business partners across medical, clinical, and commercial functions. Reports to the Global Head of Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, solutions-oriented compliance advice to the business.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging risks and enforcement trends.
- Collaborate with Global Operations and other compliance leaders to ensure cohesive efforts.
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance risks for external engagements.
- Oversee processes/systems for engaging HCPs/HCOs (e.g., FMV, contracting).
- Develop and oversee compliance frameworks for external stakeholder interactions.
- Oversee product material reviews for compliance with corporate standards.
- Contribute to compliance policies.
- Conduct live training for business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in related field (compliance); Master’s in business/accounting or JD preferred.
- 8+ years compliance and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience advising Commercial and Medical Affairs; managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- Knowledge of advisory boards/speaker programs and FMV compliance principles.
- Strong U.S. biotech/pharma compliance and healthcare enforcement understanding.
- Familiarity with False Claims Act, Anti-kickback Statute, anti-bribery, and CDE rules; understanding OIG seven elements.
- Strong communication, integrity, organization, and judgment.
