Role: Lead unit operation development and process optimization for synthetic drug candidates from preclinical to commercialization to support clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and drug production. Responsibilities: design and scale-up manufacturing processes using advanced technologies (continuous processing, PAT, modeling); lead cross-disciplinary teams of process chemists, analytical chemists, formulation scientists, and engineers; collaborate with internal and external partners for process transfer and tech development; ensure processes meet regulatory standards and are well-developed for clinical and commercial supply; mentor staff and drive innovation. Requirements: Ph.D. in chemical engineering or related field with 8+ years (or MS with 15+ years) in chemical process development, including process transfer within pharma or relevant sectors (e.g., agrochemicals, nutraceuticals); experience from mid-development to product launch; familiarity with modern synthetic organic chemistry, process modeling, PAT, and regulatory submissions.
