Responsibilities:
- Provide overall design delivery for capital project(s) for a multi-node program/network; manage DLs for node-level design (manufacturing buildings, utilities, support systems).
- Lead design governance and resolve design-related problems; own design decisions and coordinate information flow between design team and system owners.
- Lead identification of applicable design standards, functional standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements/guidance.
- Coordinate all design during project phases; deliver conceptual and basic design reviews; develop design requirements and manage design schedule.
- Coordinate with A/E firms (including selection support and earned value progress systems); ensure design intent is met with specialists and end users/customers.
- Ensure replication during design when applicable; support value engineering; participate in KPI reviews.
- Oversee verification planning/accountabilities (Project Verification Plan, Traceability Matrix, risk assessments, discrepancy tracking/root-cause).

Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical strongly preferred).
- Minimum 20 years manufacturing and/or engineering in support of pharmaceutical or API networks.
- Ability to work at the project site weekly; reports through Indianapolis.

Additional Preferences:
- Strong manufacturing and engineering background.

Additional Information:
- Travel required (~20%, 1–2 weeks/month until relocation to project site).
